An NCC Troop is running in this
school under the Indian army. Strength of the troop is 100 students.
Students of 8th standard are selected for the troop. Selection is based
on their performance and physical fitness. Regular camps are being
conducted all over India. During camp they can undergo riffle training
and adventurous training. NCC certificate holders are rewarded grace
marks for the admission purpose in higher studies and also for various
jobs including army Navy, Airforce and Kerala P.S.C. The troop is now
commanded by N.C.C Caretaker Ajith.KG.
